This page explains what personal data Contensio — operated by Host Server SRL, VAT RO46725988, based in Iași, Romania — collects when you visit contensio.com, and what we do with it. We wrote it in plain English because we think privacy policies shouldn't require a lawyer to parse.
Short version: we don't use tracking cookies, we don't sell data, we don't share data with third parties for advertising, and we self-host our fonts so browsing this site doesn't tell anyone else you were here.
Who we are
Host Server SRL is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.
What we collect, and why
Server access logs
Our web server records standard access logs for every request: IP address, request path, HTTP status, user agent, timestamp. This is used to operate the site, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse. Logs are retained for up to 14 days, then deleted. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the service running and secure.
Analytics
We run our own privacy-respecting analytics. We count page views and referrers in aggregate — we do not store IP addresses, we do not set cookies, and we do not build user profiles. There is nothing to link a visit back to an individual. Because nothing personal is stored, no consent banner is required.
Emails you send us
If you email office@contensio.com, we keep the message to reply to you and, where relevant, to maintain a record of the conversation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding, and compliance with tax/legal record-keeping when applicable. We don't use email addresses for marketing.
Fonts and third parties
Fonts on this site (Inter and Fraunces) are served from our own server — not from Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN. Your browser does not make requests to any third party while rendering the page.
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site may set a strictly-necessary cookie for CSRF protection if you submit a form (there are no public-facing forms at present). Strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from the ePrivacy consent requirement.
Your GDPR rights
If you're in the EU/EEA (and in practice anyone, we apply the same standard worldwide), you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you (access);
- Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- Have your data deleted (erasure);
- Receive your data in a portable format (portability);
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (objection);
- Request that we limit how we process your data (restriction);
- Lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP, the Romanian Data Protection Authority.

Data transfers
Our hosting is within the European Union. If we ever move to a provider outside the EU/EEA, we'll update this page and, where required, put adequate safeguards (SCCs or equivalent) in place.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. For material changes, we'll call them out in a notice on the homepage.
